The recent quakes off Sumatra triggered Tsunami warnings in some countries. This caused massive fears amongst residents especially to those staying close to the sea. Unfortunately the damage and deaths caused by the last tsunami failed to trigger the fear in some residents of M'sia, namely those in Penang, who upon hearing of the tsunami warnings, set up watches in along the waters hoping to catch the tsunami in action.
This is rather disrespectful to the memories of those departed, those who made it and to those who are currently suffering as a result of the recent quakes. Curiosity is human nature, but curiosity also kills. It was surprising that the authorities actually allowed these idiots to set up camp along the water to watch for a Tsunami.
In a way it would have been good for the Tsunami to have hit them, it would have served them right for showing such disrespect to Mother Nature. Oh well .... i guess, they could always drown by accident while taking a bath at home as well.
