Let start with condolences to the parents of lil' Nurin who suffered a horrible passing. I can only hope that the suffering did not last long. For those of you who have no idea of the going on in Malaysia with regards to this case, you can always do a search for "NURIN", or click the here .

Even with the amount of media attention this case has received, it seems like many parents are still taking the safety of their kids for granted. I guess being too secure a country also has a disadvantaged. People tend to presume that just because crime is not prominent, it wont happen. But that isnt so.

Just the other day at the mall, i saw a young couple who just walked away from their young daughter (abt 2 i guess) to look at a menu posted on a panel. And they dint even bother to pay attention to the girl. With the amount of human traffic there on that day, btw it was knock off time, and the numerous exit points, anyone could have picked her up and disappeared.

Then again this is usually the case in those of young couples, or in shotgun marriages. I'm not sayin all of them are the same but many. All for a moment of folly with ecstacy. Being young myself i can understand that its tough to find that your moments of enjoyment to go clubbin, drinking, socialising etc have been cut short. But the little bundle is also a joy, you just have to find new outlets that are probably more toned down for eg, times at the beach, travelling etc.

Hey if foreigners can bring their kids on snorkeling trips, and i'm referrin to a young girl and a lil baby, why cant we? I sure as hell plan to do so, though when that is i dont know yet of course.

To summarise, young parents watch your kids well dont presume, those intending to do the dirty, for goodness sake use a rubber, or pay the time for the crime, and for those thinking fun is lost as parents, think again .... out of the box this time!!

Seems like too little food and too much fluids after a long day doesnt go too well with my stomach. Day in day out i suffer from a case of the runs .... hmm ... then again on the bright
side i guess i'm losing weight so thats a good thing now then aint it

On a different note, i've found that i'm able to go thru the day without food and yet still be active
on the field with hockey and football, even in the scorching weather. But then again, i end up downing loads of fluids after that ... hahah ... see above for results.....

The recent quakes off Sumatra triggered Tsunami warnings in some countries. This caused massive fears amongst residents especially to those staying close to the sea. Unfortunately the damage and deaths caused by the last tsunami failed to trigger the fear in some residents of M'sia, namely those in Penang, who upon hearing of the tsunami warnings, set up watches in along the waters hoping to catch the tsunami in action.

This is rather disrespectful to the memories of those departed, those who made it and to those who are currently suffering as a result of the recent quakes. Curiosity is human nature, but curiosity also kills. It was surprising that the authorities actually allowed these idiots to set up camp along the water to watch for a Tsunami.

In a way it would have been good for the Tsunami to have hit them, it would have served them right for showing such disrespect to Mother Nature. Oh well .... i guess, they could always drown by accident while taking a bath at home as well.

THE conclusion is that the higher your level of education the stupider you get ... you spend so much time studying that when you finally get into the real world you've fried so many brain cells that all thats left is what you've learnt and zero logic or common sense.

Why do i say this?

Over the weekend the organisation i am with held a rather massive event. Tentage and the set-up of the location was only completed overnight ... again .... We were asked to come in to help at 6.30am. I arrived to find that there was no bf provided, come on lah .... you want us to come in at 6.30am?!! The least you could do is provide bf. Then again staff welfare never seems to be important as compared to our "customers".

Then comes the chair event .... at about an hour before the GOH is schedules to arrive, the co-chairman instructs all the chair covers to be removed. The chairs were covered because the colours did not match and to provide cosistency, in his words "don't differentiate" so why the hell were we being told to have 2 rows of red for VIP and blue for the rest!!! Higher Education = Higher Stupidity.

Then we have 3 more smarties, for crying out loud .... do you need 3 people to plan a seating arrangement for an area that is less than 10m wide?!!???!! They want 4 rows of 5 chairs followed by 4 rows of 15 chairs!! ... where the friggin hell are we supposed to put 8 rows in a space that only allows 6 rows when squeezed!? Higher Education Wins AGAIN!!

Then i hear that the day before another idiot .... one of the biggest in my organisation, lets call him YT, kept issuing instructions to staff to move a lot of items back and forth. WTF?? .... cant you friggin people decide things first!!??

Then lunch .... what the fuck was lunch!!??? You give already well fed people good food while you give staff cheap food!!??? Fried rice with no taste, a piece of friggin chicken and a fishball!!??

You friggin lucky there is no UNION here for staff!!

Higher Education = Higger Stupidity (grammar intended)
