Malaysia : Crime watch
Something else i found on YouTube while i was skimmin thru the site. Dont ask me how i came about to it i just did ..... On another note some colleagues of mine were debating on the issue of the M'sian Customs or should i say the M'sian Civil Service screwing up again . The topic being the imprisonment of the Singaporean who was jailed for not having her passport stamped. She's apprently fighting the case though she's already served the sentence.
While i have to say that both parties were at fault, one for not carrying out his/her duty in ensuring that the passport was/is duly checked and stamped, the other for not checking or paying attention to the officer, the debate was as to whether Singaporeans should boycott their neighbour. (?)
They reason that until the Govt wakes up and smells the Straits that separate the 2, all Singaporeans should stop patronizing JB, which will cause a drastic drop in the economy of the state as most businesses thrive on the Singaporean market.
Btw the JB Minister is supposedly set to receive an Award of Some Recognition for apparently spotting that the floods in M'sia (or rather JB ) were the result of the sand operations at some island that is currently being disputed by these 2 neighbours. He also supposedly claimed that he has never heard of any Singaporeans being jailed as a result of his/her passport not being stamped by the sleeping customs. Hows that for a Ministers response to matters occuring in his own back yard. Oh and i really mean his own back yard. The customs is about 10km (give & take a few ) from where he lives.
To cut a long story short, should the common people of the state be made to suffer for the ineptness of the Goverment in general? ......
